No Insurance Co. Duty to Defend Insured Who Pleads Guilty in Related Criminal Case

American Family Mutual Insurance Company, 2008 WL 837050 (3/31/08) (Published) - An insurance company had no duty to defend the insured in a wrongful-death action, in light of the criminal conviction exclusion of the insurance policy. That exclusion applied to the insured's guilty plea to negligent homicide. The exclusion was not against public policy and applied to more than a conviction after trial.
